Birthed from pain

 Some of the best things in life are birthed from pain.

And perhaps the Lord is going to use the waiting season you are in right now, even though it is hard and painful, to make you better. To refine your character. And to give you a new found hope in Him.

So let's not step away from pain prematurely. Let's not strive in our own strength. Perhaps one day soon we will be grateful that the Lord loved us enough to get the worst of us out.

While we wait on Him, He is doing a new thing in us. And perhaps after all the pain we endure, we will be the better of it.

Doubt

 I have always struggled with doubt. I often question God's love for me, and the very nature of his being. I fall asleep at night wondering if He is really there. The more I study the Word, and spend time talking to God, the more this happens. I've learned that Satan has a way of attacking those who are on a good path. We are a bigger threat when we might actually make a difference with our faith. Satan will do everything he can to keep us from fulfilling God's plan for our lives. He will try to fill our minds with lies and doubt, but that is not from God. In time, God will give you some answers in his own way. In the mean time the devil will try to warp your mind and do everything he can to lead you astray. Surround yourself with the truth, and your heart and your mind will follow. All you have to do is keep your eyes on God and know that His love is unchanging, never-failing, and unconditional. -SamanthaTyler<3

Through the fire

  Why does God allow us to walk through the fire? There have been many times in my life where I have walked through some of the hardest and painful trials - and honestly I became rude and harsh because of the impact those trials had over me. My family and friends began to avoid me. I cried out to God "Where is all this anger coming from?" He then asked a question that changed my life. "Can you see the impurities in gold before it is put in the fire?" I answered, "No." "But that doesn't mean they were not always there.
