Mercy

OK so, I don't know if anyone knows or remembers the game mercy from when you were growing up (I've also heard it called uncle but I've always just called it mercy.) So anyway I've had this game cross my mind quite a few times over the past few days and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why this game kept crossing my mind nor could I understand what it meant but finally it hit me....

For anyone who doesn't know this game, it's where two opponents lock hands and the entire point is to apply so much force, so much pressure, to get the other persons hand bent so out of shape until their in so much pain that they surrender - and they have to say the word mercy and the stronger opponent has to let go…

So, let's talk about this for a minute...

     If you find yourself in a situation today or any day - where you are in opposition to a force that is greater than you are, against pressure that is greater than you are and you're in so much pain and it is greater than you are and you feel like you just can't take it anymore.. Surrender! Call out to God for mercy! When you are facing something greater than you are--- You're in need of something that's greater than you are!! Jesus is your answer!!

Now does this mean when you cry out for mercy that your circumstances or your situation will automatically change??

No, that's not necessary what it means but He will give you the wisdom, the strength, the guidance, the courage - that you need to walk through your circumstances...

And that is MERCY!! <3

Doubt

 I have always struggled with doubt. I often question God's love for me, and the very nature of his being. I fall asleep at night wondering if He is really there. The more I study the Word, and spend time talking to God, the more this happens. I've learned that Satan has a way of attacking those who are on a good path. We are a bigger threat when we might actually make a difference with our faith. Satan will do everything he can to keep us from fulfilling God's plan for our lives. He will try to fill our minds with lies and doubt, but that is not from God. In time, God will give you some answers in his own way. In the mean time the devil will try to warp your mind and do everything he can to lead you astray. Surround yourself with the truth, and your heart and your mind will follow. Through the fire

  Why does God allow us to walk through the fire? There have been many times in my life where I have walked through some of the hardest and painful trials - and honestly I became rude and harsh because of the impact those trials had over me. My family and friends began to avoid me. I cried out to God "Where is all this anger coming from?" He then asked a question that changed my life.
